Editing Tool Overrides After Saving
When working with tool overrides in the Model Context Protocol (MCP) interface, you cannot edit tool overrides directly from the MCP page itself.
Steps to Edit Tool Overrides:
- Navigate to the MCP page where your tool overrides are configured
- Locate the override button associated with the specific tool you want to edit
- Click on the override button
- Edit the overrides in the modal that appears
- Save your changes
Key Point: The editing interface is accessed through a modal dialog rather than being available inline on the MCP page. You must open the override modal to make any changes to previously saved tool override configurations.
Important Notes:
- Tool overrides cannot be edited directly on the MCP page
- All edits must be made through the override modal
- Each tool has its own override button to access its configuration
